What fish can we catch?

Depending on the season and conditions, inshore trips may target snook, redfish, speckled trout, sheepshead, black drum, and mangrove snapper. Nearshore trips may target Spanish mackerel, king mackerel, grouper, snapper, Key West grunts, and more.

Do I need a fishing license?

No. Your fishing license is included with the charter.

What is included?

K Team Fishing provides rods, reels, tackle, bait, bottled water, ice, and fish cleaning and bagging after the trip.

What should I bring?

Bring sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, a hat, comfortable weather-appropriate clothing, snacks, and any additional drinks you would like.

How many guests can come, and how does pricing work?

Trips are private for up to 4 guests. Four-, six-, and eight-hour fishing rates include the first 2 guests. Guests 3 and 4 are $50 each.

Is a 2-hour fishing trip available?

A limited 2-hour fishing charter is available for $350. Please call or text Captain Kevin at (727) 470-8456 to check availability and book.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, pets are allowed with prior approval. Please call or text before booking so Captain Kevin can confirm the arrangement.

What boat will we fish from?

Trips run aboard a 21-foot Key West Bay Reef with room for up to 4 guests. A portable restroom is available onboard.

Where do trips depart?

Most trips depart from Belleair Causeway Boat Ramp, 3900 W Bay Dr, Belleair Bluffs. Bay Esplanade may be available by prior arrangement for guests staying on Clearwater Beach.

Can I keep the fish we catch?

Yes, when the catch is legal to keep under current size, season, and bag limits. Captain Kevin will clean and bag your catch at the dock.

What happens if the weather is unsafe?

Safety comes first. Captain Kevin monitors conditions and makes the final call. If conditions are unsafe, he will contact you about rescheduling or the applicable refund policy.
